Security Customer Service System
Client·A leading Taiwanese security company

What happens when someone is away but needs to arm a security system, check a device, or operate an access point or roller shutter?
Returning to the premises or calling the security company for help adds travel and communication time to routine tasks. For the provider, repeated status inquiries and requests for operational assistance also increase staff workload.
We developed a customer service system for a leading Taiwanese security company. Using an app and IoT integration, it brings device operation, status checks, and alerts to customers’ phones, providing a more convenient management tool and a direct service channel.
Handle routine operations without returning to the site
The app supports arming and disarming security systems and remotely operating supported access-control devices and roller shutters. Customers can carry out these tasks from a phone, reducing trips made for a single action or time spent waiting for telephone assistance.
The project makes security services fit how customers actually use their equipment. For managers frequently away from the premises, a phone provides a convenient entry point and more flexibility in everyday management.
Bring device status and alerts into one place
Customers need more than control buttons. They also need to know the current state and whether anything requires attention. When that information is hard to obtain, they must keep asking before deciding what to do.
The app brings device status and different types of alerts together. After receiving an alert, customers have information to review before taking action or contacting the security company.
Remote management therefore extends beyond sending commands. Status and alerts provide context about the premises and reduce the inconvenience of scattered information and repeated inquiries.
Provide clear routes for reviewing activity and requesting help
Alongside everyday controls, the system offers activity records and service requests. Customers can review previous operations or submit a request when they need assistance.
Combining checks, controls, and service requests reduces the need to switch contact methods and gives customers a consistent way to submit service needs.
We considered these functions as a connected experience: understand the current state, perform supported self-service actions, and move into the service process when help is needed.
Improve convenience and reduce repetitive support work
For customers, remote operations and centralized information reduce time spent traveling and calling for confirmation. For the security company, customer self-service can reduce repeated operational assistance and status inquiries, letting staff focus on needs requiring further handling.
These benefits come from turning tasks that previously required attendance or relayed instructions into usable mobile services. The app supports routine management, while situations requiring on-site work or professional assistance can continue through the security company’s service process.
Put security services within reach
The project combines device operations and customer service, integrating security arming, access and shutter control with status, alerts, activity history, and service requests.
We helped extend the provider’s services to mobile phones so customers can understand and manage their premises more easily, with everyday interactions less dependent on visits or calls and smoother transitions into assisted service.
